Humane Society of Southern Arizona

At the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, our mission is clear: to compassionately serve pets and the people who love them. Our work is guided by three pillars that put pets and people first. Through Lifesaving Programs, we strengthen shelter processes and expand adoptions so every animal has a chance at a loving home. Animal Care and Well-being ensures each pet receives high-quality medical care and daily enrichment. Community Engagement and Support focuses on pet pantry services and partnerships that keep families together and prevent pets from entering the shelter in the first place today and for future generations across our community with compassion and accountability.
