Armed Services YMCA enhances the lives of military members and their families in spirit, mind and body through programs relevant to the unique challenges of military life.
Armed Services YMCA El Paso's (ASYMCA) Children & Youth Programs meet military families wherever they are. Our full-day Child Development Center serves infants through Pre-K, while Before & After School care supports working military parents year-round. Operation Camp provides enriching out-of-school time experiences, and our Children's Waiting Room offers free childcare at military hospitals and clinics so parents can attend medical appointments with peace of mind. Every program is built around the reality of military life.
If Armed Services YMCA El Paso reaches the $12,000 Matching May goal, funds will be used to directly support our Children & Youth Programs helping offset the cost of providing high-quality, accessible childcare for the military families who need it most.
Funding will be applied to key program expenses, including staffing for our Child Development Center and Before & After School care, enrichment materials and supplies for Operation Camp, and operational support for our Children's Waiting Room. These investments allow us to maintain safe staffing ratios, deliver developmentally appropriate programming, and expand access to care for families facing financial or logistical barriers.
