Dorchester Paws is an open-admission animal shelter serving Dorchester County, South Carolina, committed to saving lives and strengthening the human–animal bond. Each year, the shelter provides care, compassion, and second chances to thousands of dogs and cats through lifesaving medical treatment, adoption services, foster programs, and community outreach. Guided by the belief that every animal deserves love and protection, Dorchester Paws works tirelessly to reduce euthanasia and build a more humane community. With the support of dedicated staff, volunteers, and generous supporters, Dorchester Paws creates brighter futures—for pets and the people who love them.
