Our Story

Copper Country Humane Society

Copper Country Humane Society is a "no time limits" shelter for domestic dogs and cats from Keweenaw, Houghton, and Baraga Counties. CCHS shelters cats and dogs in need of homes, providing an enriching environment while they wait for their forever homes. CCHS also assists the community as much as possible with financial assistance for spaying/neutering pets, a pet food pantry, and twice-per-year vaccination clinics. 100% of support comes from donations.
