Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society

The Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society (BGWCHS) is dedicated to improving the lives of animals and people through advocacy, education, and support in South Central Kentucky. The shelter intakes and cares for nearly 12,000 animals annually. The team strives to give every animal a happy ending through adoption, rescue, or reunification. We operate several important programs, including low-cost healthcare through the Hotaling Spay/Neuter clinic, a rescue and transport program that saves more than 3,000 pets every year, a Community Cat Program that uses Trap Neuter Release to prevent overpopulation, and a lost and found pets program that reunited more than 1,000 lost pets with their families in 2025.
